About the challenge

UK Lunabotics brings together teams to design, build and operate autonomous rover platforms across a set of challenges related to the construction of lunar habitats in a simulated lunar environment. Based on a US-based competition backed by NASA!

Challenge Objectives

Build an operational, autonomous rover. Navigate the lunar surface taking care of hazards and obstacles. Extract resources by collecting lunar regolith. Successfully return the rover to base.

Who can enter?

The challenge is designed for university and FE college students with support from their respective departments. Register today!
